Work 02 / TapeHub

How to play TapeHub

The launchpad TapeOut shipped on its one-month anniversary: it wires token launches, mining, and listings into the same Proof of Design ecosystem. This page explains the concept first, then walks through how to actually use it.

Remember this first: creation, minting, graduation, and mining are four distinct stages. TapeHub is currently Alpha Beta, so parameters may change between versions.

01 / Concept

What is TapeHub

TapeHub.ai is the launchpad founder Blonskr announced on 2026-09-15 (TapeOut's one-month anniversary), currently in Alpha Beta. Third-party developer BruceBlue describes it as "TapeOut's native Launchpad + Mining Economy" — it strings together project creation, mint subscription, mining output, and PancakeSwap listing into one continuous flow that used to be scattered across separate tools.

In one line: TapeHub isn't an exchange — it's a combined "token launch + mining" platform. Project tokens aren't distributed all at once; 95% of supply must be mined over time, and creators cannot reserve a team allocation.

02 / Full flow

Walking through a launch, step by step

Say someone launches a hypothetical project called "DOGECHIP." The flow looks roughly like this:

1

Create project

Choose BEM, BNB, or USD1 as the base currency, then set total transistor supply (minimum 1,000) and unit price.

2

Mint subscription

Participants buy transistors with the base currency, similar to a crowdfunding subscription.

3

Graduation threshold

100% mint graduates immediately; ≥50% after 6 hours is also allowed to graduate; below 50% after 6 hours triggers a full refund.

4

Auto listing

99% of raised funds pair with tokens and lock permanently into PancakeSwap liquidity.

5

Build rigs

Every 5 transistors can be combined into one mining rig, which starts producing tokens.

6

Ongoing mining

Total token supply is fixed at 1 billion; 95% can only be obtained gradually through mining.

The key difference: a typical launchpad lets the team keep an allocation and sells the rest to the public. TapeHub's rule is that the team cannot reserve anything — public funding only buys the initial 5% liquidity seed, and everyone mines the remaining 95% together. That's the core design that sets it apart from a generic launchpad.

03 / Mining mechanics

How rigs produce output, and how fuel boosts it

Rig output follows a fixed halving schedule — there's no "pay more, mine more"; every rig starts on equal footing.

StageDay rangeDuration
1Day 1–33 days
2Day 4–85 days
3Day 9–1810 days
4Day 19–4830 days
5Day 49–10860 days
6Day 109–228120 days
7Day 229–468240 days
8Day 469–948480 days
9Day 949–1908960 days

Notice the halving schedule is front-loaded: early stages are short and output is relatively concentrated, while later stages stretch out much longer — the later you start mining, the less remaining supply and speed you'll get.

Fuel boosts

2x hashpower

Burn tokens for fuel

Burning your project's already-mined tokens grants 10-30 days of fuel, during which hashpower doubles.

3x hashpower (cap)

Burn tokens + pay BNB

Burning tokens while also paying BNB boosts hashpower to 3x for the same fuel duration — currently the mechanism's upper cap.

04 / Relation to BEM

How TapeHub feeds back into BEM

TapeHub isn't a standalone token-launch tool; it's tied closely to TapeOut's native token BEM:

  • Projects that choose BEM as the base currency get stronger buyback support and longer lock periods.
  • Platform revenue (a 1% launch fee in the base currency, plus BNB fees from 3x fuel boosts) flows into the TapeHub treasury.
  • 50% of treasury revenue is used to buy back and permanently burn BEM — every new project launched on TapeHub theoretically adds a bit of burn pressure on BEM.

05 / Boundaries & risks

A few things worth keeping in mind

Alpha Beta

Still early-stage testing

Parameters, rules, and UI may all change with future versions — this is not the final form.

Locked LP ≠ guaranteed price

Permanent liquidity lock isn't a price promise

Locking only guarantees the pool can't be drained (preventing a team rug); it says nothing about whether the token or rigs hold long-term value.

Front-loaded

Later mining yields diminishing returns

The 9-stage halving schedule is short up front and long at the tail, so early versus late participation can produce very different outcomes.

DYOR

Generic launchpad risks still apply

Uneven project quality, fading hype, and thin liquidity are old problems that TapeHub's mechanism design doesn't fully eliminate — judge independently.

Claims like "early participants saw returns over 200x" come from the founder and community reposts and have not been independently verified — treat them with caution.

06 / Milestones

TapeHub milestones

This tracks only TapeHub's own major events, in chronological order; new official announcements or version updates will be added here as they happen.

  1. TapeHub.ai goes live (Alpha Beta)

On TapeOut's one-month anniversary, founder Blonskr announced the launchpad TapeHub.ai, folding project creation, mint subscription, mining output, and auto-listing into the same Proof of Design ecosystem — marking TapeHub's official launch.
